Programeren van de Wouxun KG-UVDP1 Key-Lock probleem
Na volle tevredenheid toch maar een tweede Porto er bij gekocht.
Om beide gelijk te houden heb de programmeer kabel ook maar besteld, en software geïnstalleerd.
Na volle tevredenheid de nieuwste portofoon van de repeaters te hebben voorzien, heb ik de zelfde configuratie naar de reeds eerdere aangeschafte portofoon (2009) gekopieerd.
Na de reboot stond de oude portofoon op keylock, en er was geen mogelijkheid om hem hiervan af te krijgen.
Na lang zoeken hebben ik besloten om de oude software te gebruiken, 1.4 en na alles te hebben gekopieerd te hebben leek bij de oude alles goed. In de zoektocht naar de oude software kwam ik er achter dat deze zeer moeilijk te vinden is. Dit is dan ook de reden dat ik hier een link plaats voor een ieder die het zelfde probleem ervaart.
Concreet de nieuwste software is niet backwards compatible
Oude software KG-UVD1-V1.04.exe
Nieuwe software KG-UVD1 1P V2.0.exe
Ook kwam ik er achter dat de orginele software geen behoorlijke import functie heeft, wat knap lastig is als je 128 freqenties moet invoeren. Een zoektocht over het internet leverde mij ook mooi stukje software op de KG UV Commander van Jim Mitchell, met deze software is het mogelijk om zowel de .tw bestanden (van wouxun software) als .csv bestanden in te lezen.Op dit moment is het nog niet volledig duidelijk gedocumenteerd, maar na een korte zoektocht vrij snel aan het werk gekregen. (in excel of openoffice moet je rekening houden met de notatie van de freqenties. GEEN PUNT maar COMA en bij het exporteren naar .csv moet je er voor zorgen dat alle velden tussen aanhaal tekens komt. Als dit niet gebeurd krijg je fout meldingen bij het importeren.
Ik zal mijn gebruikte openoffice document voor gemakshalve bij voegen, waardoor eea wat makkelijker wordt. Repeater lijst Nederland

This project has been a long time in the making. There are a couple of individuals who made this project happen: big thanks goes out to David / K7DB for sharing his memory mapping data and general knowledge of the radio, and to Ed Griffin of Wouxun US http://wouxun.us/ for providing radios to test. And, big thanks go out to all of the private beta testers, you know who you are.
In a perfect world, I would have unlimited free time and this software would have comprehensive help files. Unfortunately, the best I can do right now is describe the features in this readme. When I get a chance, I may post a video that shows how to use everything.

Baofeng UV-3R PTT fix
Here's my approach to fix the PTT hanging issue of the UV-3R.
Adding a cap at the PTT connector to ground pretty much solved the
problem.
22 pF turned out to be too small,
47 pF still allowed some PTT hanging when holding the antenna close
to the earphone cable,
100 pF finally cured the problem. At least with my UV-3Rs.
There's not much room between the quartz and the connector, so I decided
to use some isolated copper wire and place the capacitor at a small
distance.
The back side of the DC-connector seemed to be a good place to put the
100 pF capacitor.
I didn't have 100 pF in SMD at hand, so I placed two 47 pF in parallel I
had spare from the LPF-mod .
Make sure, the isolated copper wire stays beneath the height of the DCconnector.
